Inktober

It was October 3rd before I remembered Inktober.

I had the paper. I ordered it last Inktober. I love these little watercolor blocks.

I had the ink. I've never had any luck with this type of pen and ink but every year I try it.

I've got the ink pens. A box full.

I've certainly got the watercolor. I am going to try to use a different set every day.

What I don't have is the time or talent. I had to catch up 3 days worth yesterday so out came the heat gun. I like to watercolor first and ink later. I can't wait around while something dries.

Here you have Fish, Wisp and Bulky. Not very inspiring. I had to try Wisp 3 times before I got something I could live with. Barely. I do better with nouns than I do adjectives. Today is Radio. That I can do.

  1. I think they look great and it is wispy. Your imagination is so much better than mine. You have tons of art supplies. I had to go buy some colored pencils last week because Piper was very disappointed that I didn't have crayons or pencils or anything for my art lesson she was giving me. :-)

  2. I love the fish!! I can understand that the abstract is more difficult than the concrete to express but I think you have achieved wonderful illustrations!

  3. hey! Good job! I'm glad it will get you playing with art again!
I forgot about the list for idea! I was discouraged because every group I looked at was like a group-help format! Not for me, thank you!
I will go back and try some idea--I agree, I'm better with nouns than abstract ideas!!!!
