September

Whew.....we made it though another August. Hopefully, things will start to cool down a bit. It won't look like fall around here for a long time but the sewing room is already ablaze with fall colors. I've been digging through my stash to make autumnal placemats and lucky me....I've got a lot to choose from.

My September goal is to spend my Sundays getting this fall batik top sandwiched and quilted. It needs one more white border and it will be ready. I think I started it at least three or four years ago. I drag it out every fall and say I am going to do something with it and never do. This year....I will.

And.....my fancy orange thread is here from 123 Stitch for the Raccoon Rable project and look what came along for the ride. I've wanted to collect all four of these seasonal patchwork projects and now I have two. I've got winter to finish and now this little beauty to look forward to.
Happy fall ya'll!

  2. Certainly looks like Fall has arrived at your house! Trees are starting to turn and overnight temperatures are nearing the upper 40s, so it won’t be long before Fall arrives at this elevation.

  3. September says fall in your sewing/craft room doesn't it? It's almost 100F here right now so fall is a long way from our minds. Those placemats are very nice!
    Blessings,
