Izzy

It was even colder yesterday and Izzy dumped a bit of snow on us in the afternoon before it all turned to ice. Just when we thought it was all over we had to sit in the lower level until 11:30 after we got a severe thunderstorm warning with high wind gusts. It all ended with heavy rain so it's a real mess out there today.

I curled up on the couch all day with Pup again and did more knitting. I finished mini sweater number 4. Number 5 is supposed to be blue and yellow. I am still getting ridiculously excited when I cast on a new one so that's a good thing.

How am I getting anything done with Pup nearby? This is how. The only good dog is a sleeping dog.  I guess the cold and snow have worn her out-even though she's hardly had a paw outside in days.

  1. Cute little sweaters and cute little pup with paws up in the air - LOL. We had snow last night and then it changed to rain, so all the snow is gone. however, looking at radar, it looks like it will change back to snow in 30 minutes or so. It's going to be messy out there!

  2. Good job on the knitting--I don't like to be out in the cold either, Pup!

  3. Every one to the east of us is getting hammered with snow right now. We don't even have a flake.
Of course, I don't really mind - snow days are no good when you work from home!

  4. The sweaters are adorable. Blue and yellow is going to be very pretty.

Pup! OH MY WORD! I can almost hear the little snores from here.

  5. We had a 45 minute blizzard followed by a couple of hours of sleet then massive, massive amounts of rain. Pretty depressing but I'll take rain over ice any day. Those little sweaters are adorable!

  6. I love those sweet, sweet little sweaters. I'm so envious of your talent with colorwork. I don't have the patience.
Pup looks so sweet too. She knows how to get comfy. :-)
