Uggy, Muggy and Buggy

I hate to continually complain about the weather but this is what I woke up to yesterday.

This isn't fog. It's just humidity. You can't walk outside without your glasses fogging up. It feels like you are walking into a steam bath.

And it doesn't look like we will be out of this tropical weather pattern for a while since the Atlantic keeps stirring up more trouble. The good news is that our cabinets left the manufacturer in North Carolina yesterday. Now we just have to wait for the store to call us and tell us when they will be delivered. Could it be the end of the living out of cardboard boxes era? I'll wait and see. I've heard all this before.

  1. We have the same thing with the windows. When I wake to that, I know it's going to be a day to stay inside. Of course I do that here most of the time anyway. In Spokane we lived outside for the most part. The joys of living where there is hardly any humidity.
Oh, I do hope you're cabinets are on the way finally. We ordered our main bath tub/shower and vanity and top last Sunday. I sure hope they don't take as long as your cabinets!
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  2. Ugh, I detest high humidity! It’s hard to breathe when it’s so bad.

  3. Wowza! I have only once experienced humidity like that. It was when Mom and I went to Virginia to the CSM convention. I thought I knew humidity (we have very humid summers in Southern Ontario) until I went to Virginia!
We are humid here too right now, but nothing like that. I hope you get some relief (and your cabinets!) soon

  4. That's what we in the south live with. Mine has been really bad lately. Unfortunately I have to go to work...for 20 more weeks and then I am done and I can stay in too! :o)

  7. that is exactly what I wake up to every morning! We have new windows-well insulated and yet this is what the humidity does here, too. It is eerie to try to look out each morning! Sympathies! But hooray for the cabinets getting closer!!!!
