On this Tiny Needle Tuesday I am house sitting and spending my time keeping all the flora alive and well. There's been a lot of planting going on in this past pandemic year both in pots and in the ground. It's all quite lovely and relaxing to spend some time outside that is not in the deep dark shade of our giant trees.
In the quiet afternoon I do get some stitching done. I brought along the bookmark kit and got a start on it.
The baby tree got a bit more branch and a few more toys. I am subbing out the too babyish things like rattles and pacifiers and just duplicating the toys in different colors. I am still amazed at how many color changes their are in those little things. That itty bitty beach ball has nine different colors. Nine. That's just crazy.
Love that plant in the top photo! And your stitching is so pretty. Having a zillion color changes can sure be a PITA, but it also makes for a beautiful piece.
ReplyDeleteThe new view of yours is very pleasant! The stitching looks like you are making good progress in spite of the often color changes
ReplyDeleteThat tree is going to be so cute!
ReplyDeleteThe best cross stitch seems to have a lot of color changes! It can feel tedious, but it's worth it in the end.
ReplyDeleteNice needlework, colors changes...I recall that! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteYou sound so happy!!!! enjoy the need1e and garden time
