Clean Cut

Our new oscillating tool is here. I've been trying to get The Mister to buy one but he never would. I just went and ordered it because I've had enough of the ups and downs of tricky cuts. This thing does it all.

It would have been such a game changer on all that stair molding when we needed to just shave off a bit here and there.

Look at that. A perfectly clean cut without any damage to the drywall behind. Totally worth the money-which really wasn't that much.

I spent the rest of the afternoon watching The Mister hem and haw about the sink plumbing which of course didn't line up. At least the Plain Ole Goat soap I made the day before looked promising. I was worried because I soaped with the lye and oils being 80 degrees and that's as cold as I'd ever soaped before.

I did manage to get a loaf of Oatmeal and Honey soap made in the morning before all the stuff hit the fan yesterday. Hopefully today we'll have that plumbing thing figured out. The Mister just came back from the hardware store with a bag of stuff. Sigh....

  1. Dave has one of those tools - it makes a huge difference! We used it when doing the flooring to cut out around vents and such!
