Wovember

 

Did you know this was a thing? I didn't. I heard about it on a podcast yesterday. It's an Instagram thing. I think you are supposed to do woolly things, photograph them and write how they apply to the daily prompt. 



I'm always doing woolly things. Right now I am going to sing the praises of Knit Picks Swish. I had never used it before and I have to say I love it. 



This is the first hat that I've made with real wool that I can put on my head. It's that soft. I finished my Fright Club redo yesterday. We took a day off from kitchen stuff because......football. 



Now I've got mother and baby fall hats. Mommy hat is a bit different because I couldn't match all of the colors of the Tosh with the Swish. For some reason Swish doesn't have the pale yellow that I needed for the crown. No matter. I think they both look great.

    I think they both look great. I haven't used a Knit Picks yarn that I haven't liked.

    This is the first time I've ever heard of Wovember, too. Love those hats; it looks like a complicated pattern. (I like Knit Picks Stroll and need to check out Swish!)
