The recent change over to cooler weather has brought out all the knitting stands.
Every morning I set them up in anticipation of getting some stitches in but most days I don't. Dog Star got the most attention this week when I did find the time.
Altheda, my blast from the past, is in the other stand. She's been in time out for the summer since that unspun Lopi is pretty scratchy and hot. I started a new reel on the sleeve so that's a good sign. This may just be her year.
Late at night I am still getting a few rows on Festive Doodle. There's not much more to that sleeve I'm afraid. I'm going to be sad to see this project end. Some projects you could just work on forever and this is one of them.
The only socks on the needles are these Pairfects which are for me. I've got one at the heel and the other not quite there and that's not right. The whole point of knitting them at the same time is to finish at the same time so I've got some catching up to do.
You have some gorgeous projects going on. Festive Doodle gives me a headache just thinking about trying to read those directions and then actually follow them. Yikes!

All are such pretty projects. Your colorwork amazes me! Love your knitting "stands" too. My aunt used to have one of those and I wish I had it (I have all her needles and other stuff).
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you keep track of where you left off and what stitches come next!?! Of course, I am not a knitter so that probably explains it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful projects!
