Where it started.
Where it ended.
We got as far as putting in some of the new studs but we called it a day after just a couple. It was too nice outside not to take Pup for a walk before it got dark. There's always tomorrow.
And.........someone asked me about the advent sweaters I had posted about the other day and here they are from Arne and Carlos. They will be a KAL that starts in December so I wanted my WIPs basket cleared by then. I thought I had a shot at it until the wall came tumbling down and I see how much work all this is going to take. Oh, well...there's always next year.
Oh. My. Gosh. I don't know how you're not losing your mind over this kitchen renovation. I would have sat down and cried before we started the demo. That solution for under the range hood is perfect though. It looks great.
ReplyDeleteThose little advent sweaters are so cute. I am way behind on next years mittens though. I need to finish up a few small gifts and then have a mitten marathon before I make anything else.
Blessings,
Betsy
If there's one thing I've learned about home renos is that it's ALWAYS going to take longer than first thought. There's so many little things that come up, or you didn't think about. Those home reno shows are so misleading!
ReplyDeleteAlso... it's really physical work and there's only so much you can do if you don't want to end up as a pile of jello for several days.
And so it begins again, double check the outlet depth now:)
ReplyDeleteYou have more patience than me!
ReplyDeleteWow....this is the kitchen renovation to crown all jobs! I think the knitting would be more fun.
