Tiny Needle Tuesday

The toy tree has three more flags on it's lower banner. It's not much to show for a week but it's better than nothing. After day of dealing with kitchen issues (and there are always kitchen issues) I don't feel like doing much of anything. We spent yesterday fighting over the new stove. The Mister is convinced that none of the ones I want will have enough room in the back for the cord so today we are going to drive all the way out to Lowe's again (!?!) just to pull the drawer out and see.

On Sunday I drug the little stitching stand out into the living room and put the lawn and some more border on the little house bookmark. I like stitching little things. I need to find more little things to stitch.

Yesterday I took advantage of The Mister wanting to take an afternoon nap and started putting all those blocks together. It's a fiddly job to line them all up so I am very happy there are only five rows to deal with. Two are done now. Most of the size is going to be in the borders because I am so over those little squares.

  1. I feel your pain. We go to Lowes 3-4 times a week and it's about an hour driving time, (30 minuts each way). Then the shopping time. I used to like Lowes. Not so much anymore.
We have a garage full of vanities, counters, tub and shower surround. No date yet for the remodel.
I love that baby toy tree and I'm still looking for it but no luck yet. If you remember where you found it, I'd love to know.
    Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  3. This cross stitch is just so sweet--the little flags are a nice addition! Sorry for the remodel snags--decisions are overwhelming at this point!

  4. I love the colors in the baby sampler. It is so cute.

Your kitchen cord woes remind me of when we got our new refrigerator. The cord supplied wasn't the kind that would fit in a recessed outlet. For the love of Pete .... it's ALWAYS something.

  5. Aren’t the little clips the best for securing fabric together! I love them for binding, too.

  7. The toy tree is super cute but it looks like it requires a lot of counting and focus.
I am terrible at lining up strips of square but I bet that yours will be just fine.
