Ladies Who Lunch

It's been almost two years since I've seen my old work friends. We used to meet on a regular basis to keep in touch but you know how that went. Three of us (all vaxed) braved the virus and had lunch outside on this terrace in Annapolis yesterday. This was my view. Not spectacular but for the first time out in a public place in what seems like forever I'll take it.

My flatbread and salad lunch was delicious-at home. We talked so much I brought most of it back with me. We had a lot of catching up to do.

Back at home I had a big surprise waiting. I ordered this book ages ago and it finally showed up. You know what a fangirl I am and this book does not disappoint.

I love pattern books and recipe books that tell a story and this one does. It's even got Arne's grandmother's seal of approval and that's good enough for me.

  2. I'm so glad you were able to get out and have lunch with your girlfriends. We ate in restaurants in the UK but mosting outside on terraces and patios. Here, we go through drive throughs but don't eat inside much at all.
You needed that connection and I'm so happy for you.
Arne and Carlo's book looks great. I'm a fangirl of theirs too and always look forward to watching their videos.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  5. What a great time for you to focus on something other than the 'k' word! The book looks fantastic! I'm sure we will be seeing one of the knits on a needle from you very soon!
