TNT: It's Not Easy Being Green

The December block of the Sheep Virtues is done which means that the project is finished. I'd say woo hoo but I already miss working on it. As soon as I get it cleaned up I'll show it off and do a proper post. Right now I'm kinda sad about it. Go figure.

I've also had other things to do this week that took a lot more tiny needle work than I'm used to.

I don't crochet so when I was asked to come up with a certain little green someone I had to spend many late night hours trying to figure it all out.

Thank goodness for You Tube.

Today is #1 Son's 42 birthday and he sent me a photo of a crocheted Baby Yoda last week and asked if I could make him one. It was an epic ordeal not only making the pieces but sewing them all together. He's not perfect, he's actually pretty sloppy but I think he's kind of cute. I found the pattern here on Etsy. It's funny how mine doesn't look anything like the pattern but I guess that's what you get when you don't have a clue as to what you're doing.

  1. I'm VERY sad that the sheep virtues are done. I really love them and have looked forward to seeing your progress each month.
Baby Yoda is very cute. I think it looks like you did a great job. I don't think I've ever seen a Star Wars movie. I'm probably the only person in the universe that hasn't seen any of them.
Your son will be thrilled that you took the time and effort to make him.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
