The Northern Lights hat is done. I actually finished it before I left for my kitty sitting trip but I forgot about it. I managed to get all those live stitches onto a cable before I blocked it without too much drama. Now I have to figure out what to do with them. My plan was to knit a liner since the yarn is Shetland and rather scratchy. I doubt it I could fit a liner and my big head in the hat so I've got some thinking to do.
The big man socks are done. You all were right. There was plenty enough for toes with even some leftover. Hallelujah.
The only thing I've worked on since I've been home is a dishcloth. I'm pretty knit out at the moment.
I do have plans for this though. I found a simple but interesting hat pattern and I think I'm going to double strand it with some nice soft Chroma in the New England colorway. I think it will help the texture and brighten up the color. We'll see. It's going to be a big adventure when I work up the mojo to get started. It's hot and humid here again so working with wool isn't as fun as it was when we had the promise of fall upon us. Sigh.
