There is not much happening here so I thought I'd share the photos Daughter has been sending me from Maine. Here's her yurt.
They are staying at a wellness campground. No TV. No WIFI. Just yoga, massages and the great outdoors.
Yum. Daughter is in seafood heaven.
I have pictures of her climbing on those rocks with my mom and dad when she was six.
Her Mister has found something to keep him busy.
I've been getting up at 5 with her crazy kitties so I was surprised to hear my phone buzz this morning. She was up with the dawn too. Look at that coat. Brrr.....she says it's COLD up there. It's been hot as heck here.
I know Daughter's anxious to get home to her little one. She made me promise I wouldn't let her grow up too much while she was away but I dunno...she seems to be getting bigger every day.

A yurt! It looks as if they're having a wonderful time. I would love to have a bowl of that clam chowder right now.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine wearing a warm coat like that right now. It was 93 here today.
Blessings,
Betsy
What a different kind of vacation to my mind--beautiful surroundings, though, no doubt about that!
ReplyDeletethe yurt looks SO inviting! I would love a vacation like that. Sounds heavenly and in a gorgeous location - thanks for sharing the pics.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful scenery and wonderful temperatures. Although, after Dorian moved on northward, the temperature and breeze here in NC today is just delightful. If only it would last! Hope you have a nice trip home.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at myself while reading this post. It all sounded so nice and relaxing until the no WIFI. My heart actually skipped a beat. With that exception, it does look like a lovely vacation.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. The day 7 toy menagerie was hysterical. We were up by Lake superior Apostle Islands this week and it too was very cold. Winter hats and jackets. 50 degree water .......Hope kitty doesnt grow a wink!
