Artsy Stuff

I didn't buy the May card kit so I've used the money for artsy supplies this month. I bought the Gelli Press that fits my new art journal along with some texture combs to play with.

The vendor wrapped it in this adorable tissue paper. I found it here on Etsy. Daughter's already ordered herself some. I am going to cut it up for a collage one day.

I also bought a ton of alcohol ink. I'm still working up the courage to use it.

You have to use this special plastic like paper. This is going to be an adventure.

I also bought some painting supplies. I've become addicted to watching watercolor doodling You Tube videos and so, of course, had to have the same tools the artists use.

I can't watercolor worth beans so it's probably a lipstick on a pig situation here but I splurged on some good paint and a very pricey brush. As the saying goes...you can't take it with you-so I might as well have fun while I'm here, right?

  8. I also love watercolors! And i bought 5 different types of colored pencils a couple of years ago, still not touched most of them. I thought expensive materials can draw themselves :)

I've used alcohol inks on polymer clay, but haven't tried it on yupo. Do share your experiments and hints!
