Caterday Cat-tastrophe

It's a darn good thing there isn't an active serial killer in my area because if there was the FBI would probably be knocking on my door. This guy has been shaking blood all over the house and I had to Google how to get blood off of my newly painted walls and front door. It's not as easy as you think. For the record, it's baking soda and vinegar.

It's all because of this guy. He gave gray kitty a big slap in the face that turned into a big nasty abscess that required a vet visit yesterday. Lots of $$$. Lots of worry all because this one got his nose out of joint. Bad, bad kitty.

This guy should be fine. He got an antibiotic shot and some wound cleaning stuff we apply twice a day. He's taking it easy for the time being and making an effort to stay far, far away from Mr. Bad Kitty which I appreciate. This big guy could make lunch of the other one if he really wanted to and I really don't need anymore vet bills.

  1. Poor kitty. I read about the issue on your comment on Val's blog. What gets into these guys anyway? Hope he's better very soon.
    Blessings and hugs,

  2. Every once in a while we have fur flying around here, too. Who knows what sets one of them off!? Glad there's no permanent damage to cat or walls!

  3. Ha - we said the same thing about blood on the walls when Tux had the huge blood filled tumor on his leg that would burst every so often. I'd come home to a crime scene - blood splattered on walls, floors, furniture! It was insane.

Hope kitty is feeling better and the animosity dies down.
