Tiny Needle Tuesday

I was inspired by Dee to try my hand at making a bookmark. I bought this pattern book at least 30 years ago to make bookmarks for my sisters for Christmas one year and then never made one for myself. I didn't get very far. It's still in the package but I have plans.

I did pull out the sheep sampler this week and kitted up the floss but between the Tour, the Euro Cup and getting all the cards finished for the giveaway I didn't put a stitch on it.

I did however get all of the big center blocks done on the squares quilt. I've started the job of stitching the edges but my fingers needed a break. Those tiny hand quilting needles are deadly. My fingers feel like sandpaper.

  1. That bookmark is really pretty with the lacy edge. Have fun. They are almost instant gratification!

  3. I'm the same as you. So inspired by Dee's bookmark I've decided to try to make some for Christmas gifts. I have so many things to do and not enough time to get them all done.
I like your sheep sampler too. You've got so many beautiful things going.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  4. I had the same bookmark booklet and made several for friend gifts. I don’t think I stitched one for myself though.
