Something New

When I saw this newly released stamp I had to have it.

I have a ridiculous collection of watercolors and I am always looking for something to paint. I hate to draw anymore but I do love to slop paint around every once in a while.

This is what the stamp is for but...........

.....this is what I wanted it for. I love filling in mandalas but I hate drawing them out because mine are always wonky. This is perfect. Just perfect. It will keep me busy for days as I work around that perfect circle.

The Mister has also been working on two new paint by number kits. He just finished this one....

...and he's working his way through this one. I can't thank Kathy B enough for bringing these to my attention. The Mister works on these for hours every day which gives me the time to do my own thing.

  1. What a great idea for that stamp! And the Mister's painting is so nice...those paint by number canvasses are so much more detailed than they were when I was a kid.

  2. I can't imagine the time and PATIENCE it takes to do both the mandala's and the paint by number kits. I lake that particular virtue so neither would be for me. I admire that skill in both of you though. The Mister certainly is talented with the painting.

  7. I love the paintings, and of course your creative way to use that new stamp. I wonder if he would like needlepoint? Painting but with stitches?
