One Done

Believe it or not, this is one half of a finished project.

That's what a thrummed mitten looks like when you turn it inside out to weave in the ends. It's crazy.

The second one is in progress but it's not going to look the same. I'm using up some chain plied handspun and there is no way those stripes will ever add up to a match. Usually I am fussy about things like that but I love these colors so much that I don't even care.

  4. ugh, the tool ate my comment! sorry if this is a dupe!

I'm not going to lie, the inside of the first mitt scares me, but weaving anything in does. Like an allergy, I tell you.

I'm glad you aren't fussing about matching the color changes for the second mitt. The yarn is so beautiful you're guaranteed a fun pair of mitts when it's done no matter what!

  5. If I was a little field mouse I would build my very special warm winter nest inside that thrummed mitt. I never saw anything so cozy.

  6. What pattern are you using for your mitten? I tried trums once and got discouraged. That's a pretty yarn!
