Wednesday WIPs

 

The two blobs are reaching milestones. The dark blob is getting its double knit front band worked on. It took me three episodes of Dateline to get about 3 inches done. Oof. The light gray blob has reached another stage of the short rows and will soon be finished. I really should be casting some travel knitting on but its too darn hot. It felt like 108 here yesterday. Opening the door was like opening an oven. So I didn't.

In the cool downstairs we got back to work on the floor. It took us about 2 hours to get the first board down because of fancy cuts around the doors. 

We got this far down the hall before we gave up for the day. Ignore the wonky board on the bottom. We're using it to remind us NOT to step on and break off the fragile joining seams we're going to need today.
