Seems Like Old Times

We haven't had a parking lot picnic since the Pandemic began but yesterday we threw caution to the wind and camped out in the parking lot between the McDonald's and the grocery store where we had a pick up scheduled. I had small fries, The Mister had two Quarter Pounders and Pup had a nugget mixed in her kibble. It was the closest thing we've had to a road trip in ages and it was fun to just watch the world go by.

I did some car knitting on the trip over and back. I've made peace with the green socks. They are finally starting to show their true colors.

After sorting and washing groceries the only thing I had the energy for was to finish my latest tiny puzzle. My poor December puzzle is still in the box. Maybe I'll get it out today.

  1. I'm glad you were able to get outside and enjoy yourself a bit. Our plan is do sort of the samething with friends tomorrow after our drive by pickup. We're going to drive through and pick up some food and go sit in a parking lot and eat...10 feet between cars and try to vist a little. I can't imagine having any conversations from that distance, but it will be SO good to see people's faces that we haven't seen in 9 months.
    Blessings,

  3. The green socks look great!
My husband laughs when I finish putting away a big grocery order and then I say, "Let's order a cheesesteak" because I'm too tired to cook any of the groceries I just put away!
    Love the wee Pup pic!
