It's definitely not fun, but I am glad you got to see them even from a distance. It has been 13 months and 6 days since I've seen ANY of our kids. I want a vaccine today. Please?Take care Debbie. Hang in there. We'll be playing with our grandkids very soon.Blessings,Betsy
Sometimes I think it is HARDER to see them and then watch them drive away. Maybe we will get a New Year's miracle and the virus will start to die down and the vaccine will work even better than they thought.Well, we can wish, right?
I finally broke yesterday and cried - I was on the phone with our youngest who is doing so well but for whatever reason I finally couldn't keep back some tears. Our son understands and OH was so supportive. I am truly blessed but sometimes the feelings are just so strong. So happy you were able to be with family, even in such a somewhat uncomfortable way!
I’m glad you were able to see and visit with your daughter and SIL.
I hear you Deb. If I think about how it has been over a year now wtihout seeing zach in person, I dont know what to do. CMon vaccines. I felt sad on the Eve, but then we got zooming and it was ok.
That looks like a cheerful, if chilly visit!
I was sad not to see parents or in laws on Christmaas DAy, but we are all safe and well and thats what matters I guess. Glad you got to do your present exchange!Jillxo
I guess I'm relatively lucky. My daughter visited for a week in August, and I saw Seth for a couple hours in October. It's not much, though. Can't wait for spring!
A distance visit is better than no visit! Glad you got to see loved ones!
Wow! I don't think I could handle a distanced visit from my kids. I'd be better off with a phone call than seeing them without hugging them. You have way more willpower than I could ever hope to have.
So glad you got to see each other--it sure has strained our mama hearts!
