Losing My Place

I broke my cardinal rule of weaving. I left the warping board empty. Now I don't have a project waiting in the wings.

A few months ago I bought the lime green cotton planning on doing something with all the turquoise  I have in the stash.

I told myself I was going to wait to see how this project turned out since I might want to use the same draft. Maybe. But I am  not using the single color weft. This is getting ridiculous. I take out more than I weave since the slightest wandering of the mind makes me lose my place. All the place marking strings are helping but I've still had lots of drama even with them.

  1. Gorgeous colors! Weaving always fascinates me because it looks so complicated.

  3. Love seeing your weaving projects! I can relate to losing one's place, as I do that repeatedly on my knitting WIPs. Doubt that will stop me from startitis though......

  4. What you have done is absolutely beautiful! Of course, I love the orange because it takes my mind directly to fall.

  6. The new warp will be beautiful-love those colors!!! The warp you are weaving up will be pretty even if it has a few misteps!
