Someone asked me a while back how the dies work with the stamp sets. It's pretty simple. After you stamp and color, you tape the die over the image while it's on a special cutting plate and then.......
....you run it through your cutting machine.
Out pops all your little critters and other do dads. This card is going to be for the fall giveaway and if you want to see it check back in on August 1st.
Those dies are pretty cool and so is this watercolor set I found on Amazon on Prime Day. It wasn't actually on sale but I bought it anyway.
Look at that. It folds out like a color chart from the paint store. You should see all the cool fold out swatches people have made from this set-and you know how I love swatches. Squeee........

I wondered about the die sets, too, thanks for explaining! I saw that paint set for sale---you are going to have to post your swatch painting!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for explaining how the die works. I never did quite understand it before. I thought you had to cut all of those little pieces out by hand. That is quite handy little tool.

Very cool how those dies just pop out! Looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteThose little critters are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks for explaining the die thing, I for one had NO clue. Maybe someday I'll get into all that fun stuff. Watercolors have come a long ways too - geez, I didn't realize.
