Happy 4th!

I hoped to have this square done by the 4th and we all know why that didn't happen.

The good news is that both the kits are here so as soon as I get a minute I can sit down and put that blankety blank red where it belongs and move onto August.

We aren't doing a thing today because we celebrated the 4th yesterday with a birthday party for the Star Spangled Grand who will be one on the 9th.  Of course I made him a card.

Mommy and Daddy went all out with the decor.

Of course he could have cared less. One year olds are hard to impress.

On the other hand, Big Brother was very impressed with all the celebratory trappings.

For the adults it was a good excuse to eat crabs and drink beer.
Happy 4th!

  1. Hmmm, crabs! I'm glad you had a good gathering anyway. Quiet day here, too. I will be spinning and just being.

  5. Those crabs look amazing. I loved eating them when I lived Annapolis!
Birthday parties for 1-year-olds are more for the adults. I don't think my kids appreciated them!
