Crossing the Finish Line

Daddio's crazy tumbler quilt is a done deal.

Oops....this is a better photo but...

...it looks better right side up. I'd take it outside for an even better photo but it's too darn hot and buggy out there. I'd never survive it.

It took a while to machine stitch along side every tumbler but I like the way it looks. Much better than my terrible in the ditch machine stitching which was anything but. I took it to Daddio yesterday to have a look and of course he didn't remember it. Oh, well. It's mine now.

  5. Awww Deborah. This is a hard time for our parents. Hugs to daddyo. Mom had the worst night I've ever seen on Sunday. She needs to go to heaven. I love the quilt.

  6. It is beautiful.

It's sad that he didn't remember, but I'm sure he could still appreciate how pretty it is.

  7. Oh geez, it's really beautiful even without the natural daylight. My dislike for the bug things is VERY strong so I can understand! I'm sorry that Daddio doesn't remember the quilt, but it's so beautiful. Hopefully he saw that.
