Thanks Mom!

I was digging through the knick knack cabinets looking for a candy jar to put my collection of holiday chocolates in when the contents of one of the top shelves came crashing down on me. My mother had collected a set of Depression ware for each of her three daughters and this part of my set was now on the floor. Nothing was broken, thank goodness. While putting the shelf back I realized I had the pegs in the wrong holes in the front creating the landslide.

Pegs? Why didn't I think of that before. A light bulb had come on so I set to work.

I grabbed some string I had near the loom and in a flash I had a secure set up for the Advent sweaters. Next year, when I have them all finished I'll buy some fancier cord.

Since this is another cobbled together holiday, thanks to the never ending remodeling, the simple string will do just fine for this year. I'll get something better next year.

Now I'm all fired up to get them done. There's been some sleeve action on #15 but not much. I need to get on it.

  3. You were so lucky nothing got broken. Those pieces are so pretty!

The sweaters are adorable. You should see if you can find those tiny hangers for next year.

    Happy knitting!
