Chestnut doesn't look much different this week but #15 does. The body is done and I've started the sleeves. I knit them two at a time to keep them from being a slog. I was in a hurry to get to #16 because that's my birthday but then I realized advent things don't work that way or does it? I have no idea how advent things work. Do you start with #1 or #24 when you take them down. Help me here, please.
I also need help hanging them up. I bought these cute little hangers which work well but.....
....the stocking hangers I bought were too light weight to hold the string of them and down they came.
Oh, well....I'll have to worry about it when I get home. Yesterday I left for Daughter's for the week taking care of this little one while SIL is away on a business trip. He usually does the child care while Daughter's at work but this week....it's me. She sent me this photo of the little one checking out the guest room they had cleaned for me. Like my house, Daughter's house is filled with kitty dust but as long as I have a clean place to sleep my allergies don't seem to mind.
Those little sweaters are so cute...but an even cuter grandson!ReplyDelete
I think you are supposed to count backwards.. but in the end, it probably doesn't matter. Do whatever you want! It's your countdown!ReplyDelete
I love the little sweaters! When using my Advent calendar, I always start with 1 and work up to 24. Enjoy your time with your Grand.ReplyDelete
How wonderful! No reno projects just snuggles and quiet nap times! Enjoy!ReplyDelete
Your little sweaters are delightful, as are the wee hangers too! Enjoy your week with your grandson.ReplyDelete
