Busy Bodies

The Mister and I survived our overnight visit from the Baby Grand. He was wonderful.  Not an unhappy peep all night, thank goodness.

I don't usually put my tree up this early but since we had the living room cleared out to make room for all the baby furniture we went ahead and got it out after he left. I had been debating whether to even bother this year but watching Rudolph with the Grand cleared away all the humbug.

The afternoon was spent working on his first birthday invitations. Daughter is hosting a small gathering at an outdoor ice rink next month. Because of all the germs circulating a traditional cake and ice cream first birthday is out of the question. Just getting through the holidays safely with an infant is tricky enough.

  1. Glad you had a nice time with that little one. He's a cutie. Your tree looks pretty. I miss having one up, but it doesn't make sense this year.

  2. Isn't that the truth! An unconventional gathering will never hurt! The tree looks sweet and you will be cheered by its sparkle!

  3. Little ones do have a way of chasing the Hum Bug away. I put my tree up this weekend for a little but Christmas cheer.
