It all started here.....
It's an odd shaped, asymmetrical thing which is very long making it hard to photograph in it's entirety. I love the little eyelet edging and the picot bind off. It was a bear to block but it was worth it.
I don't think there is a better feeling than blocking something this pretty that you spun yourself. I can't wait until it's cold enough to wear it. It's gotten warm here again. Boooooo.....
Oh my goodness! It's gorgeous. I've thought so all along as you shared your progress with us. Yep. I was right. I love it. Will you share a picture of you wearing it with us when it's cool enough to put it on?

Congratulations on such a beautiful finish! Liana
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. I just love the little shifts between shades. You are a wonderful spinner/knitter!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous finish! I love the colors in that yarn and you did a beautiful job knitting it.
ReplyDeleteIt is a beauty!!! I love the feel of a handspun shawl; nice work!
ReplyDeleteI love your shawl. I also spin but have not had the nerve to work one into a shawl yet. Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely beautiful!!!!! I just love it and also seeing the two stages. The cooler weather is on its way to you. Raining and 60s here in NC and I think it is headed north. Lots of rain which we really needed. You should just feel smug today from that completed project.
ReplyDeleteFabulous finish! What's the pattern? I've been meaning to ask you about lined mittens; do you have any suggestions or a pattern source? DD in Chicago has requested a pair.
ReplyDeleteThat's the Bosc Pear Shawl pattern.
ReplyDeleteI've only made the Snowfling lined mittens but I was just looking at the Luffe pattern on Ravelry. It's a cute striped lined mitten made from scraps that looks faster and easier than the Snowflings which took me two years to finish.
Gorgeous!!
