Solitude Interrupted

The kitties woke me up at 6 so I had plenty of quiet time to get some KAL knitting done.

Then at 10:30 Daughter called to say they were on their way home-already. It's only a three hour drive from the ocean so I packed up and headed home. I like to be on my way before they get home. No one needs me and all my stuff around when they are trying to unpack.

I could have used a few more hours of alone time but someone was glad to see me. I had to play toss the kitty for about an hour upon arrival.

I tried to get some work done but she wasn't having any of it.

From what I could see those hexies are going to fit very nicely onto the border that's already there. I see a lot more appliqueing in my future-as soon as Pup lets me.

  3. Pup is gorgeous! I couldn't let my pup anywhere near a white quilt though, her paws are permanently flithy at the moment!

THe first socks looks like Kroy's Paton? Nice . They must wear very well because the yarn is strong it seems.

  8. The hexies are gorgeous as are your KAL socks. Wonderful colors in that yarn. Such a cool (cold) weekend...now humid and sticky again.
