The 12 week battle of the mites is not officially over. Pup's injury put an end to my furious cleaning but the piles of laundry and the plastic covered furniture still remains. A year ago this week I was having fun making soap in my disaster of a ripped out kitchen.
That soap has to sit for a whole year before you can use it and now it has-only I am too afraid to try it. I am still getting mite induced hives almost every day and I am not ready to move on from my mite killing regimen when it comes to myself. I know it takes a month or more to stop the allergic reaction to the damage the mites leave behind after the last one kicks the bucket but it's still freaking me out. I think it's going to take a long while to get my head straight after all this. Like my legs, my brain just may be scarred for life.
Oh Deb, I'm so sorry that you're having to go through all of this. It does seem endless, even to me, and I'm not living it. I'm still hoping Pup can have surgery sooner rather than later too.ReplyDelete
Take care and take lots of deep breaths.
Blessings and love,
Hoping this is over for you soon!!ReplyDelete
I hope you are soon able to enjoy your renovated kitchen and get your house back to normal. Your ordeal has been mindboggling to say the least. Sending lots of wishes for a successful surgery for Pup.ReplyDelete
Mite induced hives...that doesn't sound good. So sad for you.ReplyDelete
mother nature can really be horrible when it comes to creepy crawlies and what they can do to us! Stay strong - you got this!!!ReplyDelete
Bad memories will bounce around your life for a while--this has been a misery beyond imagining! I would use the soap and make your skin grateful for the luxury!ReplyDelete
