An Early Crop

 The Sunflower blocks are addicting.

I only intended to make one and the next thing I knew I had four. That's the whole top row. I've got to slow down. This project has to last all summer.

I got another Dear Jane block done. A simple one thanks to my mods and some fussy cutting. Ignore the little tails that hang out of the triangles. If and when I join the blocks they will be dealt with.

The new navy is here and it's a......maybe. It's not perfect but it may just have to do. I'll make a few blocks and decide.

Of course I couldn't just order the navy material. Some pretty clearance yardage came along for the ride. I've got no plans for it. I just liked it.

  4. The sunflower blocks are just beautiful. The fussy cutting and the fabric just make that Dear Jane block. Your top two fabrics have wonderful potential as bindings.

  5. I am trying to get all caught up on your blog posts. I think I need some poison Ivy soap, we have a lot of poison oak here and I fear for my life getting it again. I was a mess a few years ago when I got it all over my face and neck. Love your quilts and of course your new rug kit.

The rug-hooking cat is really adorable. I dont' know how you put that one down.

The blocks are beautiful for the Sunflower blocks! No wonder you didn't want to stop piecing them!
