I got an order from my soap shop on Saturday. Can you guess what kind of soap I am making next?
If you guessed a beachy type soap you are right. I love plain old clay soaps. They aren't pretty and they don't smell like something you want to eat but they feel wonderful on a hot day.
I dug out my beach type fragrances. They aren't my favorite scents but they'll do. I'm not fussy about fragrance when I am covered in sweat and bug bites.
Some new flavor oil came along for the ride. I am addicted to those little night time lip balm pots. I say they are for night time because they don't have any sun protection in them. I can't use any lip product with that sp-whatever in it. It makes my lips itch.
Look at these beauties. They are bath fizzies made with Epsom salts and mango butter.
I've been making them using this moon cake press that came all the way from China. They are lovely in the tub. I wish I could include one of these in the next giveaway but even though they are pretty sturdy I don't think they'd survive the ride.
Speaking of giveaways.....a BIG THANKS to everyone who participated!
I'm out of the bunny cards (all 25!) and the cuticle butter ( I LOVE that stuff) but I still have PLENTY of soap and lip balm left. At the moment I have a few bars left of ALL the soap fragrances so check out the Spring Giveaway post if you would still like to get in on the action. I've got to clear those drying shelves soon so I can get going on the summer soap.

Thank you! I got my package in the mail on Saturday! :) Looks like you will be busy again! :)
ReplyDeleteThose bath fizzies are beautiful. They look so delicate. Your wonderful package arrived late yesterday evening. I am addicted to that lip balm already and the cuticle butter worked miracles after just two uses. You are wonderful! One of the most generous people I know to give so much away. Thank you my friend. Blessings, Betsy
ReplyDeleteI love to read the names of the soap fragrances! Those bath fizzies are really lovely - how creative to use a moon cake press! The sun is shining here and I hope it's shining for you, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you soooo much! I love the lip balm and the Pikake is over the moon. Best soap yet that I've received from you.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you are making plans for the next season already! Those bath fizzy presses are ingenious!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bath fizzies!! I've recently developed all different kinds of allergies and reactions to things that never used to bother me. Age is a beautiful thing.....
ReplyDeleteThose bath fizzies are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much for the soap giveaway. I received mine on Saturday and I've already distributed the soaps to various sinks. I used the lip balm once before my daughter snatched it and claimed it as her own and one application of the cream already has my cuticles looking better. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you for my gift envelope. LOVE IT ALL
ReplyDeleteYou have been so creative! Love the bath fizzies. I don't think I have ever heard of clay soap. I assume that is the base of the soap. Anything that conjures ocean breazes is wonderful.
