TNT

Back in the day a quilter took pride in having a one needle quilt. That's not going to happen. This one snapped right in the middle of a stitch on Daddio's paper piecing quilt. I've never had that happen before.

In spite of a broken needle, I got one more row done on Daddio's Nine Patch. I only have one more row to go and now I'm thinking I may have to add more to it. It's awfully small and I still have a big box of the fabric leftover.

I did make my goal of getting the roof done. I also got a good start on a little tree. I wanted to get this building done by the end of the month but that's not going to happen. That's a lot of building.

As for the Sheep Values, I've got another building that has to get done before I can start working on Miss Faith who is standing on a hill out in the front yard. I'm still loving my new grime guard. I really need to make a few more of these for my other projects. They are really handy.

  1. All of your projects today are just beautiful Debra. I can’t wait to see the sheep virtue as it gets more stitches in it. Blessings, Betsy

  3. Your TNT projects are making wonderful progress. I can't remember ever breaking a needle while hand-stitching, but plenty of sewing machine needles have broken over the years.

  4. That quilt is so so amazing! I don't know why, but today it really caught my attention like a work of art and I studied it for quite a while. Love your stitching - always feel relaxed when I'm stitching.

  5. You're a regular house-builder!

Daddio's quilt is looking awesome! I say go bigger, then you can really treasure it!

  6. Your stitching is so lovely but it sort of kills me that you don't shove the others to the side and focus on one project till it's finished.... Said as I sit here surrounded by 4 knitting projects on the needles and ideas for a fifth brewing in my brain... :) But no matter how you choose to work on them, all your projects are beautiful!

  7. Your samplers are just beautiful and I enjoy seeing them evolve. Dadio's quilt is so cheerful. I would probably add another row of nine patch blocks. Though I am not sure if the design is made by using nine patch blocks or by the way you position the colors in each row. Either way, it is beautiful!
