January's Frozen towel is done.
It took me a few days to work up the nerve to cut it off and in the meantime I decided to keep going.
There was a lot left at the back. Not enough for much of anything but maybe enough for a small cloth. I find them handy on the counter to hold things I don't want going into the dish drainer. I do have a dishwasher but I never use it. In fact, I store dishes in it. For real.
My new little cart has come in very handy. I love it. Now I need to go back to Ikea and get some organizers for it so I can ditch the baskets I have been using in it.
I did get the next warp for the next project done. It's the first time in a while that I finished a warp before I finished a project. Yay, me.

Such nice winter colour! Congratulations on the finish!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cloth. I can see why the cart would be handy to have close to the loom.
ReplyDeleteWonderful towel. Love the blues!
ReplyDeleteLove the blues in that. Believe it or not, I've never had a dishwasher!!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe new dishcloth is so pretty!!! Great job on the weaving. Enjoy the next Ikea trip--I predict you will come home with more than baskets!
ReplyDeleteYour frozen towel is just beautiful. So funny that you don't use your dishwasher as I thought I was the only one who stopped using that convenience. The new ones take forever to complete the cycle and I just don't have the patience for it. I can wash the dishes in just a few minutes unless I have made a complete disaster of my kitchen. Not using the dishwasher for storage yet but have thought about it.
ReplyDeleteWow! Your Frozen towel is gorgeous! LOVE the blues and greens!
ReplyDeleteOur dishwasher was broken for almost 2 years and we used it as a dish drainer. I sort of miss those days. With the exception of the silverware, I enjoy hand washing the dishes. All that warm, sudsy water... there's just something comforting about it.
