TNT: Turning a Corner

Even though the stitching table is still being used for soap I made some decent progress this week.

My little Quaker village has now gone around the block.

I managed a few more sails, some more rope and have started to back stitch the alphabet on the nautical sampler. I've got a few more batches of soap to make before I can get my stitching table back but I'm not complaining. It's been kind of fun getting out of my old routine and finding new places to sit and stitch.

  2. You're making great progress. When I first saw the the soap photo, I thought it was slices of cake all lined up! Ha! You can see where my mind goes.
Love both stitchery projects too. Especially the Quaker. Lovely. Did I tell you that I have the "Sheep Virtues" in being framed? I can't wait to get it back.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  6. Good job! Getting out is helpful isn't it? just to knit quietly? I may be sitting and knitting in a parka by the lake if it doesnt warm up soon.
