On a Clear Day....

I'm off today to see my family for the first time in over a year. I can't even put into words how this feels and I guess I don't really have to because I am sure most of you already know. It's all so overwhelming. It's been a roller coaster of emotions hasn't it? Right now it's all about moving forward.

Walking outside without masks on the boardwalk was nice. Instead of playing the Dodging People Game we could walk in a straight line. Pup got to sniff strange dogs again. We actually sat on the the benches and watched the crab boats working.

I need to call Dr. Fauci and tell him that we will know when the pandemic is officially over when I stop wearing my pj's out in public. I am shameless.

I had a big laugh when I saw this sign on the way home. I don't want crabs. This year I don't want anything but some normal and some calm. It is way overdue.
Happy Mother's Day everyone.

  2. Same to you! My daughter and family will be driving down to me (8hrs) after church today-it will almost two years since I have hugged her in person...it seems surreal. I know we will both be crying tears of joy! I'm so happy for you-Happy Mother's Day indeed!

  5. Happy Mother's Day, Deb. (No one would know they are PJ pants. They are pretty snazzy!)

I almost (ALMOST) went out in my sweat pants the other day. The only reason I didn't is they have "FIRE POLICE" down the leg. I didn't know when Steve ordered them that they were going to put that on there. I thought it would just have the Chalfont Fire Company logo on the hip. OHHHH NOOOOO --- GIANT letters all the way down the leg. LOL

  6. Happy Mother's Day to you!
Seeing family is wonderful, isn't it. Just going outside without a mask is pretty amazing, too. Let me know when the pandemic is over!

  7. Happy Mother's Day to you Debbie. I hope you had a wonderful visit with family. I had my first in person Mother's Day in many years with Mandy. We had seven fully vaccinated people at her house, (except Piper), for lunch so we didn't even have to mask up. It was wonderful. And Dennis got here tonight to make the day even better. Tomorrow we have to unload everything. I hope I make it through.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
