A Sew Sew Sunday

Well look at that. I am sewing something that is NOT a mask and is NOT something left over from Daddio's quilting days.

I am finally getting around to putting all those blocks together I made two winters ago using the leftover material from a baby quilt I had made for a friend of Daughter. It's a four square block and I had made half blocks but hadn't joined any of them. I was expecting the worst.

There's a lot of moving parts with this block but for some odd reason known only to the quilting gods they are going together fairly easily-though I probably just jinxed myself.

  2. Nice! I love the colors. I'm in the middle of knitting a baby blanket, so I had a knit knit Sunday. One of these days I need to get back to quilting, but then there's SO much yarn.....

  3. I'm glad things are going well for you in the quilting world. I just bought some of those clips for sewing last week from Amazon. I've seen lots of people using them and I'm tired of sticking my fingers. :-). Some friends asked for some masks so I'll be getting the sewing machine out soon.
    Blessings,

  6. I finished remaking a quilt for my daughter and think I should start making quilts for some of my grandchildren. I have some leftover fabric to use but just haven't been motivated to begin yet! I'll have to use you as my inspiration and get busy! Thanks!

  7. I love that block. I have a Jelly Roll coming and it will most likely end up as that block!
