Card Making 101

Whenever I do a card post I get questions about the stuff I am using so here are some answers. The green thing is a Cuttlebug and the pink thing is a Mini Misti.

I stamp the critters with the Misti and then color them with alcohol markers. The Misti has magnets that hold the paper down so you can stamp over and over on the same image until you get it right. It also lets you line things up just where you want them on it's little door.

The trick is to make sure you use the right ink. I learned the hard way that certain inks only go with certain markers. Who knew?

The Cuttlebug cuts out all those stamped images so you don't have to.

It rolls the little critters that now have a die taped over them between several thick sheets of plastic and voila....

....in no time you get a pile of critters to play with.

I've got quite a collection of dies that do it all.

Not only are all the critters die cut, all the background papers and whatnots are too. I don't use scissors for anything except trimming. Good thing too-my eye hand coordination isn't what it used to be.
