#Operation Sock Drawer

If you listen to the Knitmore Girls podcast (who doesn't?) you know they have had a project going on that's all about sending in your glorious sock drawer photos.

I don't have a real drawer. I have one of those cheapo plastic bins.

All three drawers have been filled to the brim with socks for ages. Those are all my handspun heavy boot socks. I really need to grow more feet to make use of them. I haven't worn some of them in years.

After rearranging and organizing them all morning, I realized I really don't have room for another pair. That doesn't stop me from knitting them though. I only have one pair on the needles at the moment and that just doesn't feel quite right. And where are my Christmas socks? Didn't I buy some Felici in the Jingle Bells colorway last year? I need to go find it so I can get them done-by next year.

you are just ahead of the game! My favorite old fingerless bit the dust..Im not sure how the snag occurred, but they are done. They are at least 10 years old!

  5. I think I just drooled on my keyboard a bit. What lovely socks! Amazing! I have one of those bins too, it's filled with yarn. I am hoping to one day have it filled with socks like you. My pal was visiting last weekend and I gave her 3 pairs. I think hand knit socks are love. I have some felici in a xmas colors somewhere too ... hmmm. I am sad they discontinued that yarn.
