Before I knew that this project was going to be a train wreck I ordered more yarn for it. Now I have two boxes of woe under the coffee table shaming me.

There were a few gaps in my colors so I tried to coordinate a few more. If I ever get that far, these may work.

I really appreciate all the expert advice that was offered up. I think I know what's going on but I have a lot of frogging to do before I can test out my new knowledge. I've also decided to go down a hook size to reduce the holiness of the thing so I am waiting on yet another package from Knit Picks. I am trying out a new Caspian hook this time. What have I got myself into....

  1. Brain strains are good lessons! Stay with it!

  2. You are my crafting hero. I believe in you! You're always figuring things out and making beautiful things all across the crafting universe, Knit, Quilt, Sew, Spin, crap, what don't you do? This is just another crafty badge on your sash, I know it!

  3. Stay with it is right! don't give up! My Michaels yarn came today... very thin..but that' okay its so soft

  4. Hang in there! Let's hope the second time is a charm. I've got my fingers crossed.
