Since I finished my first little hooked rug, I've been itching to start another. Sticker shock was a big problem. I wanted something mindless this time around so I went looking for patterns and patterns are apparently expensive. I did find this rather handsome turkey for a decent price here.
Pattern means pattern. What you get is the scale drawing for you to transfer to your own backing. That will be my next big adventure.
What I wanted but couldn't afford was the design all drawn out for you on the already bound background.
Look at what I paid for that one about three years ago at MDSW. If I'd known this hooking thing was going to get so popular (and expensive) I would have bought a pile of them.
Great choices for the new rug hooking patterns! I like the crow and pumpkii one especially...I really like crows! ( You are planning on ma k I by any of these for next year , right?!)
ReplyDeletelove what you picked. Yes they are expensive. I have a pinterest board full such projects.
ReplyDeleteLove all those! Man I wish I had bags of money... I so want to start hookin'!
ReplyDeletelove the raven and the pumpkin. SOOOO cute
ReplyDeleteLove both patterns! It seems to me all patterns have really increased in price. I sure get excited when I find free ones on Ravelry and other places.
ReplyDeleteI love both the designs and the colors. I've never tried rug hooking. It sounds like fun.
ReplyDeleteFun patterns! Good fine, sorry they aren't as affordable as your previous finds. These are going to be great though.
