I'm still heading downstairs every morning and putting a loaf of soap on to cook. This is the only new fragrance I bought for this session. It's called Red Maple and it was supposed to be for my big fall giveaway but that didn't happen.
I decided to try it anyway and it turned out pretty nice. I like the fragrance. I thought it might smell like pancake syrup but it doesn't. It's just a nice soapy smell.
On Friday I made one of my favorites. It's a pine scent but it's called Mistletoe.
Well, that's a bit busy. I swear I do the same thing every time and it always surprises me.
I think both of those soaps look lovely (and I bet they smell great)!
ReplyDeleteI suspect making soap is something like dying yarn - you just can't totally predict how it's going to look
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun experiment each morning. They are certainly beautiful!
ReplyDelete"Red Maple" just sounds divine.
ReplyDeleteOn square needles: I've always used my "regular" needle gauge to measure them, and haven't been misled. Knitting gauge is the same as rounds.
Both are huge successes--beautiful results! I am glad you are playing around with new things!
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of Red Maple and the design it makes too. Both loaves are beautiful. You amaze me.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
