Friday Finishes

Ta da.....my Pairfect twins are done. It's almost the end of October and these are the first addition to this year's gift box. Oh, well....it's been quite the year with little time for sitting and knitting.

Yesterday's soap smells lovely but it looks dreary. Whenever I make lemon scented soap it's always a challenge to get a yellow mica that doesn't fade. This one sure did. You can barely see it.

And....we did this. The Mister got two participation stickers yesterday. He got one for his flu shot too. He likes to space his apart, I like mine all together. Now we're both good to go through the holidays.

  1. Your socks look great! I kind of miss getting an "I voted" sticker. They don't include one in NJ's mail-in ballot. MD looks like they included everything except a crab on their design.

  2. The socks turned out great-it sure was fun to see you knitting two different colored socks at once this time!

  3. Love the socks and the soap! I got both of my vaccinations a couple of weeks ago.

  4. Love the socks and the soap. Glad you got the flu shot. Guess who was gifted the flu this week at school? I would like to return this gift ASAP. My website is back and functioning if you want to see what I have been up to.

  5. WE don't get a sticker either for mail in. Boo! And our ballots aren't even here yet (prob today). Love the socks!

  6. We get stickers for mail-ins here, too. Very nice touch.

  7. Since this is our first big election since moving, we didn't realize that we could vote early and I "think" it's too late to do it now. I guess we'll be heading to the polls on election day.
Love those beautiful socks. So bright and cheerful, I know they'll make someone happy to receive them.
No shots for us yet, but planning the flu shot very soon.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy
