I finally got it. I got my couch potato day. Sort of. First we took Pup for an extra long morning walk on the boardwalk to tire her out. Then I vacuumed the whole house, made bread and put some bean soup in the crock pot for dinner. I finally got to settle in for some serious TV time and knitting in the afternoon.
I got those last six Audun squares finished. I've lost count of how many I have now. It might be around 20. Even though I need a lot more I am starting to worry abut joining them. The directions are a bit confusing. I think it's going to take a bit of trial and error to figure it out.
Oh that face! She is really cute. It doesn't sound like a potato day to me. You got a LOT done first. I used to have a lot of time to sit and knit/crochet. Not so much now. My life has sure changed.
ReplyDeleteI do like the square a lot. They are beautiful. I think the easiest joining method is just crocheting them together. So much better and quicker than sewing them.

Betsy
I hope she settled down so you could have another sit-down day! Nice work on the crochet! Joining is easy if a bit awkward!
ReplyDeleteI could use a couch potato day after all my work today, yet there is more to do so none for me! Hope you had some nice quiet time.
ReplyDeleteI need a whole couch potato day! The join can be a crochet join or a join with a needle and yarn...watch some you tubes! You will get the hang of it!
