Since I am plopped on the couch all day anyway watching the games I am determined to get the big center blocks of the squares quilt done before the tournament is over and the Tour de France begins. I have four more to do.
I did have a scary moment with the marking pens this week. I forgot to iron the marks out and left them in for a few days. I was worried they wouldn't iron out but they did. Whew...that would have been terrible. It still feels wrong to use a pen to mark up your quilt but so far these pens have been great. I'll never go back to chalk.
I usually work on the table in the sewing room but I have to say curling up on the couch in front of the TV makes this project much more fun. So much fun that I find myself wondering if there is something else in the orphaned top pile that could use some hand quilting when this one is done.
I wish I had time to curl up in my recliner and knit/crochet but unpacking is tkaing most of our time anymore. I'm seeing the ligt at the end of the tunnel.

Sometimes working in front of the tv is the best. I know I'd never get a quilt bound if I didn't have TV
ReplyDeleteEuro cup challenge huh. My husband just tried to torture me telling me a golf tournament (OPEN) will start coverage today. Oh Please
ReplyDeleteIt sure is a great hand quilting design-the results will be great! I love the pens , too, but it is scary to use them! lol
