Sew Sew Sunday

I'm sorry to still be whining but I am still hating this new blogger thing. I used to be able to upload all my photos at once but now I can only go one at a time. It makes this whole blog thing a real slog. I don't want to sit here all day trying to post, I want to do stuff. Like work on this top. I had to rip it all out 4 times until I got it lined up right. If I have to do that with every row the thing will be a frayed rag before I am done. I tried every trick in the book to get it straight but it was not having it. I am almost afraid to try another row.

While I was in the sewing room Dear Jane got some attention. She has been very neglected. I am very happy to be on the last row of the block now.

I am on the final edge of the rings quilt. I won't be sad to see the end of it. It was fun for a while but now it's time to move on. I've got another one ready and waiting.

While I was in the sewing room I forced myself to stitch a bit on the Needles and Pins sampler. I haven't touched it since the big soaping adventure because it has to share the table with the soap stuff. This is the last bit of the flower border. I will finish it in June. I will. I will. I will.

  1. Everything looks so nice. I love the rings quilt. Our Hobby Lobby is supposed to open up either this week or next. It was open for a few days last week, then closed again. Soon I'm going to try to get my courage up and go in to buy more floss to work on the "Sheep Virtues." I want to get them finished and framed.

  2. I'm always encouraged by your blog and am so thankful for the time you devote to creating it. Looking at all the work you do is a joy, even when things aren't doing what they're supposed to - I have so many projects in time out! Take care and thanks again for this blog!

  3. Remember what Jenny Doan says about quilts... finished is better than perfect! So don't sweat it too much!

  4. Your projects are just beautiful! Hand quilting that large quilt is quite impressive. The sashing rows on the dresdens is so pretty. Hope the next row will go smoothly!

  5. The quilt is lovely and so is that big ole mess in your kitchen because that means you are getting closer to it all getting done. I made the switch to the new Blogger a while back and it went just fine. Stay safe my friend.

  6. All of your projects look nice! I load all of my pics at once--but I use my computer where the pics from my phone all automatically load so its easy.
