Now that the Tour is over I have had time to pay attention to things that aren't related to spinning. This poor weaving project has been terribly neglected.
There wasn't a good picture of the finished towels with this particular kit so I did some research and.....it's huck lace. It's supposed to look this way. Lace means holes, right?
I may be undecided about the kit but I am still in love with my little blue cart. It makes such a big difference to have everything right where you need it when you need it. I'm thinking I need one for my spinning nook now.
I don't know anything about weaving but I think it looks nice with the holes. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love my cart too. I have thought about a second one but not sure where I would use it.
Blessings,
Betsy
I wove huck lace towels. Yours will look great! The holes will shrink a bit after washing. I even did some cross-stitch on one of mine to decorate it. Two hobbies in one project - perfect! Liana
ReplyDeleteThe huck lace looks interesting. I can't get my head around a towel with holes/lace, but it is pretty!
ReplyDeleteI think you are going to love weaving and using this towel--it is beautiful! I'm glad your cart is such a convenience--that was the plan!
ReplyDeleteJill of all trades and master at all.
ReplyDeleteHow interesting! It really is cool-looking and I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about weaving but I really like your weaving project - pattern and color. That cart is just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteThat looks neat!
ReplyDeleteWell I think you MUST get another one. Carts are not a want they are a need!! in keeping with my post today
ReplyDeleteI'm fascinated with that weaving project. My Very limited knowledge of weaving leaves me wondering, how on earth do you get the holes to be so even and same sized? It's going to be lovely when you're done!
