A Little Knitting

A very little knitting. I can't remember the last time I had so little on the needles. I've got just one dishcloth in the works and.....

...the Willow cowl. I didn't plan on them being color coordinated but there you have it.

This is why I haven't been getting much done this week. It's back to work on the wood. This week we are tackling what's left in the front yard. That nice little pile was yesterday's work of sawing, splitting and stacking.

We moved back to the front yard because things are starting to happen out there.

We've got to get the remaining brush and logs off my precious little darlings. It's so nice to see the same smiling faces pop up in the same place every spring.

I was very happy to see my Narcissus show back up. They were right in the middle of the mess but it looks like they made it. Whew.

I've also got some new things. I planted a bulb collection in haste last fall trying to work around the disaster that is my yard so who knows what survived.

Oh, dear. My clay pots didn't survive. As soon as the last of the wood is out of the way I need to get this sorted out. It looks like I'm going to be shopping for new pots this year.

  2. Wow, your things have already bloomed! We have some green coming up, and there will likely be one daffodil bloomed by the end of the week, but that's it around here.

  6. Flowers! We got seven new inches of snow yesterday and last night from that winter storm. At this rate it will be June before it’s melted and we see any flowers. Bah Humbug! You sure are getting a lot accomplished though, getting that wood stacked. There will be no lack of firewood in your house! Pretty knitting. I need to get some dish cloths made for my gift basket. I seem to always have too many projects that I commit myself to. Blessings, Betsy

  7. You can turn your broken pots into toad houses.
Your crocuses are so pretty! The sun is finally shining here - I should go brave the mud bog that is our yard and see if anything has started to pop up yet.
    Love your coordinated knitting!

  10. Your bulbs are way ahead of ours! So sorry about those pots; was it the trees or the cold? Love both your projects! That's one of my favorite dishcloth patterns, too.

  12. If you are on Pinterest search fairy gardens. You can use those clay pieces to create them. :)
